Good for Denver. Way to succumb to the demands of two inept lackey’s LeBron’s somehow made important and totally reach on a deal.
Not that there’s any realism in my idea, but why not just make him play til the trade deadline, put yourself in the playoff race, and then publically spin it to make it seem like Melo’s quitting on a playoff team and still wants to be traded? For a guy who already has image issues, “not caring about winning” surely isn’t a tag he needs.

There are only really 2 winners I see from this trade… New Jersey and Charlotte…
I only see Charlotte winning in this. Denver breaks even. Nets lose in my opinion. You’re throwing away picks and Derrick Favors, a player allegedly so good (at least in the system) that Avery Johnson said he would draft him even if they got the number 2 pick. This pretty much destroys all “rebuilding” they wanted to do.
Oh, and I guess Jazz do ok. Maybe a loss, since I don’t think they’re that well off at SF if I recall. They do get that fat contract of AK47’s off the table. Eh.
